Apply for the student visa at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate that has jurisdiction over your place of residence (your home country)
Schedule a visa appointment at the appropriate local U.S. visa application center and prepare the following essential documents:
A valid passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in the U.S.)
DS-160 confirmation page (non-immigrant visa application form)
Form I-20 issued by your U.S. institution.
